Taking the Rest of the Weekend Off

It's Labour Day weekend up here in the Great Stormy North. We got about 120 mm. of rain from the recent round of storms, so I'm hoping for a few sunny, dry days. I'll be back here on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on how long it takes me to recover from my grandson's birthday party.

In the meantime, here's a picture of sparrows eating the seed knocked out of our bird feeder by a squirrel. Until we got the feeder, I had no idea how many birds (and how many different species of birds) lived in our neighbourhood..
