Links to things I found interesting but didn't want to do a full blog post about.
- Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything. An online exhibition from the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal celebrating the life and art of Leonard Cohen.
- 30 classic Italian dishes that everyone should try. Food from the CNN TV show by Stanley Tucci, "Searching for Italy". Recipes not included but they should be easy to find.
- The Case for Semicolons. "There are very few opportunities in life to have it both ways; semicolons are the rare instance in which you can; there is absolutely no downside."
- An obligately photosynthetic bacterial anaerobe from a deep-sea hydrothermal vent. Life without light is not unusual, but these bacteria are photosynthetic.
- First vaccine to fully immunize against malaria builds on pandemic-driven RNA tech. This could be a game changer.
- Telescope sizes, compared. An infographic comparing the size of the world's major telescopes. I can't wait to see the images from the Extremely Large Telescope.
