Here are some short reviews of videos I enjoyed watching.
- World-Building: How Science Sculpts Science Ficiton. Moderated by Phil Plait, an astronomer, science communicator, and author of several astronomy books, the panel includes Hugo award winners Becky Chambers, Mary Robinette Kowal, and John Scalzi, as well as Doctor Who writer Simon Guerrier.
- How Star Wars was saved in the edit. "A video essay exploring how Star Wars' editors recut and rearranged Star Wars: A New Hope to create the cinematic classic it became." This was extremely well done and I learned a lot about the movie I didn't know before.
- Complete Guide To Starship: Falcon 9 VS Starship. What's new? What's different? Another detailed and fascinating video from the Everyday Astronaut.
- First Person Shooter. The history of first-person shooter video games in three minutes. This brought back some memories.
- Stay The Fuck at Home with Samuel L. Jackson. "This is the full, uncensored video of Samuel L. Jackson reading "STAY THE FUCK AT HOME," written by Adam Mansbach, with cover illustration by Ricardo Cortés."
- Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. Hilarious. This is my life.
- Ry Cooder - The Prodigal Son (Live in studio). A wonderful performance from one of my favourite musicians.
