Links to things I found interesting but didn't want to do a full blog post about.

- A measurement of positronium’s energy levels confounds scientists. "The departure from theoretical calculations eludes explanation."

- Fusion boffins apply plasma know-how to building thrusters. It's an interesting idea, but there's no fusion involved, and the article has a frustrating lack of technical information.
- A California Wildfire Nea6rly Destroyed the Historic Lick Observatory. "The state’s apocalyptic blazes have burned 2,000 square miles in 10 days. Here’s how they almost claimed a 130-year-old astronomical icon."
- MobileSyrup’s printable guide to basic Google Assistant commands. This is a handy list, especially if you have a Google smart speaker or Android phone.
