Recently I've found two long and very detailed articles about the 737 Max crisis. As you might expect from the sources, they have somewhat different perspectives, but both are worth reading.
- From the New Republic, Crash Course: How Boeing's Managerial Revolution Created the 737 Max Disaster. This one goes into much detail on the genesis of the 737 Max program, how Boeing's managerial culture has changed (and not for the better), Whatthe politics behind the investigation.
- From the New York Times, What Really Brought Down the 737 Max? The article's tag line shows a very different perspective for the article: "Malfunctions caused two deadly crashes. But an industry that puts unprepared pilots in the cockpit is just as guilty."
